Families brought their own picnic dinners and enjoyed the music of DJ Steve while kids danced and played on the new playground.
There were lots of families in attendance and everyone had a great time catching up after the summer.
The event lasted until it got dark.
"It is so great to see the Claremont community come out to celebrate back to school on such a beautiful evening.
"It's even more exciting to see families dancing to the music, shooting baskets on the new basketball courts and kids climbing around the new playground, " said Kerri DiMiceli, OUE PTA president.
Among the attendees was Town Councilwoman Kim Jeffrey and Ossining Town Judge, Michael Tawil, both of whom have children who go to Claremont School.
