Lowe’s songs reflect a varied past from his roots in rural North Dakota through the streets of the New York City theatrical world to the more stable, none-the-less bustling, print industry.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for open mic sign-up. The open mic runs from 8-9 p.m., followed by Lowe’s show. Admission is by free-will donation and there will be light beverages and snacks available for a small fee.
All proceeds from the event benefit Danbury Arts in Action, an organization supporting arts mentoring and instruction to at-risk youth in the community.
A Common Ground Community Center for the Arts is at 33 Crosby St., Danbury.
