Last fall, Theater O collaborated with the Ossining Upper Elementary PTA and Claremont School in the production of “School Play,” an original musical featuring songs written and performed by fourth-graders.

“Theatre O kicked off their first season with an original hit, ‘School Play,’ which premiered on Dec. 18, 2014. Under the expert guidance of Jessica Irons and Aisling Dono, these lucky kids got a real taste of creative and reflective practices that are so essential for the performing arts,” said Claremont Music Teacher Giocille Shaw.

“I am delighted to be a part of Ossining’s revitalization. It is a very exciting time for Ossining. We are such a creative community – I can’t image a better place to open a theater school,” said Jessica Irons. Irons was the artistic director of the award-winning Off-Broadway Theater Company Andhow! for 10 years and has taught theater all over the tri-state area, pre-k through college age.
