The 10th annual Hudson River EagleFest kicks off on the morning of Saturday, Feb. 8, at Croton Point Park. The first EagleFest drew about 300 attendees and representatives are expecting roughly 5,000 attendees for the festivities celebrating the national symbol.

Collaborating environmental groups are set to host 10 additional eagle viewing sites, including the newest location at Rockwood Hall in Sleepy Hollow.

"Amazing live raptor shows are always a fan favorite and will be held throughout the day," representatives said. "Additional activities range from guided and independent eagle viewing, bus tours, storytelling, a tent brimming with children’s programs and activities, bird walks and displays from 30 area organizations."

Shows take place all day in The Eagle Theatre and Eaglet Stage under tents at Croton Point Park. Food provided by the Wobble Café will be available for purchase.

Teatown is selling general admission tickets, which will allow those who attend to enter all of the tents and to take advantage of all of the day’s activities for one price. Pre-sale tickets will be $10 for adults, $8 for children; no charge for those 4 and under. Tickets sold at the venue on the day of the event will be $15 for adults, $10 for children; no charge for those 4 and under. Representatives encourage everyone to arrive early to the bird shows in the Eagle Theatre as seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
