NEW CASTLE, N.Y. -- The Hip Kid's Lounge will hold its first Creative Kid's Market, to benefit Sunshine Children's Home aquatic therapy program on Saturday.
The show, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will feature artwork and products created by new artists. The public is invited to browse the wide selection of jewelry, accessories, paintings, art pieces and crafts designed by local up-and-coming artists.
A donation of 10 percent from sales will go towards the creation of “Team Sunshine” t-shirts for the children at the Sunshine Children’s Home who will be participating in center's new aquatics therapy program.
The event will be held at the Hip Kid’s Lounge, 77 South Greeley Ave., Chappaqua.
The mission of the Sunshine Children’s Home and Rehab Center, located in western New Castle, is to create a loving and supportive environment that provides the highest level of quality pediatric care for children from birth to 18 years of age who require post-acute medical care and/or rehabilitative therapy, combined with psychological and developmental interventions.
