These two Westchester communities will join more than 700 cities around the globe in this international celebration of song, which takes place annually on the longest day of the year, the summer solstice. A special “preschool graduation” event performance for the children at the Sunshine Children’s Home will begin the celebration the day prior, on Monday, June 20 featuring Mike and Miriam Risko playing their music for the preschool graduates who reside at this Ossining residential pediatric care facility for medically-fragile infants and children.
