Warmer Than Average Temps Expected To Last Through August

The hot weather the area has been experiencing is expected to remain through August, according to the latest forecast from Weather Underground.

The longterm outlook projects the northeast part of the U.S. will remain at or above average temperature wise through October, Weather Underground said.

Other areas expected to deal with higher than temps through month's end include the southeast and south central parts of the U.S., reported Weather Underground.

The workweek has started off with temps a bit lower than we've been seeing with highs topping out near 80 Monday and expected to do so again Tuesday.

The highs are expected to be around 85 both Wednesday and Thursday before climbing to the upper 80s Thursday and Friday.
