WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Ossining firefighters are on the scene of an apartment fire that took the life of a woman early Friday morning, according to the Ossining Police Department.
A woman was found dead inside an apartment at 42 Cedar Lane in Ossining following an early morning fire.

Firefighters were able to douse the flames quickly but found the woman once inside.
