ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police arrested two women for separate incidents of driving while intoxicated during the holiday weekend.
In the first incident, which occurred at 2:48 a.m. Friday, Orangetown police arrested Mary T. Sodora, 51, of Nyack, officials report.
Sodora, who was operating a 2013 Kia, was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation and, when she failed sobriety tests, she was arrested for DWI, according to police.
Sodora was taken to Orangetown police headquarters, where she failed a Breathalyzer test, officials said. Due to having a previous DWI conviction within the last 10 years, Sodora was charged with a felony, police said.
She posted $500 cash bail and is scheduled to appear Jan. 19 in the Village of Nyack Justice Court.
In the second incident, which occurred at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Orangetown police arrested Lisa J. Rivera Quinones, 41, of Lake Worth, Fla., officials said.
Quinones, who was operating a 2015 Ford, also was stopped for a vehicle and traffic violation, and, when she failed sobriety tests, she was arrested for misdemeanor DWI, according to police.
Quinones was taken to Orangetown police headquarters, where she refused to submit to a chemical test, officials said.
She also is scheduled to appear Jan. 19 in Orangetown Justice Court.
