ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police have arrested an 18-year-old resident of Nyack on an assault charge, following an altercation at a Nyack deli on South Broadway.
During the incident, the suspect allegedly struck another individual numerous times, causing multiple injuries to the individual’s face, according to officials.
The altercation occurred on Wednesday, July 6. The teen was arrested the following day at approximately 10:03 a.m., police report.
The suspect was charged with assault in the third degree, and released with a return date to Nyack Justice Court on Tuesday, Aug. 2, according to officials.
