Greenwich Police Asking For Help Locating Dog That Bit Child

Police are asking the public for identifying a woman and her dog that bit a Greenwich child who is now facing a series of preventative rabies shots.

The incident took on Sunday, Jan. 12 at Binney Park when the dog bit the child, causing minor injuries, said Greenwich Police.

The dog is described as being a medium-sized golden retriever with “reddish” fur. Its handler was described as being a white, possible Asian woman in her late 20s, the department said.

Police are asking that anyone with information on the dog or its handler contact the Greenwich Police Department at 203-622-8000 or on the Tip Line at 203-622-3333.
