TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police recently charged a Springfield Garden man in the theft of car parts from his employer in Tappan.
Cjohn Olivier, 38, was arrested after the Chrysler Parts Distribution Center conduced an internal audit and discovered the missing car parts. The company contacted the Orangetown police, saying the evidence pointed to Olivier as the thief, police said.
During an investigation, Orangetown police discovered the missing parts in Olivier's possession, police said.
He was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 6.
