TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Luisa Taddeo, a resident of Tappan since 1978, passed away peacefully March 3, 2016.
She was born April 26, 1922, in Cervinara, Italy, to Giuseppe and Carmela Santoro Picca.
Taddeo, a homemaker, also was a seamstress who worked throughout Rockland County for 17 years. She was a devout parishioner of the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Tappan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Domenico, who died in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Marco; grandchildren, Daniel and his wife Kuree and Luisa; and great-grandchildren, Giovanni and Domenico. She also was predeceased by five sisters and a brother.
