Cosimo Joseph Chindemi, 79, Of Pearl River

PEARL RIVER, N.J. -- Cosimo Joseph Chincdemi, a resident of Pearl River, died Sunday, April 17. He was 79.

He was born Nov.16, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Giuseppe and Frances Chindei.

He is survived by his wife, Stella; four sons, Joseph and his wife Olga, Vincent, Anthony and his wife Susan and Thomas and his wife Emmy; grandchildren, Gregory, Christina, Wade, Victor, Joseph and Mia Rose; brother Frank Chindemi; sisters, Josephine Sessa, Frances Codelia; brother-in-law Bruno Codelia; and sister-in-laws Frances and Jean Chindemi.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Danny, Anthony, Victor, Marylou and Laura.
