PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Longtime Pearl River resident Barbara A. Hartigan died on Wednesday, Feb. 3. She was 77.
She was a daughter of Beatrice and Howard Johnston.
Hartigan was a member of the Pearl River Senior Citizens B Club, and she loved to travel with the club.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John Hartigan; her six children, Kevin, James, Timothy, Lorraine O’Connor, Richard and Thomas; and 12 grandchildren.
Hartigan was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Johnston.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6, and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7, at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, 100 Franklin Ave., in Pearl River. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8, at St. Margaret’s, in Pearl River.
