VICTORIA'S SECRET: Two Bronx residents were charged with stealing more than $1,300 worth of goods from the Victoria's Secret store on Tuesday at the Palisades Center mall in West Nyack.

GUN BRIBERY: Alex Lichtenstein admitted on Thursday to his part in a bribery scheme that helped speed gun license applications through the New York Police Department. An NYPD sergeant has also been charged in the case, and another officer has already pleaded guilty to accepting bribes.

ELECTION COPING: Rockland organizations and businesses are helping people cope with the results of the presidential election through healing events. One was held Wednesday at a church in Nyack.

GAS STATION ASSAULT: A Suffern man was charged with attacking a clerk at the Gulf gas station on Airmont Road in Ramapo on Tuesday. 

ELECTION CLOSE IN ROCKLAND: The 2016 presidential election race in Rockland was close, with Hillary Clinton winning New York and its 29 electoral votes but the race in Rockland was decided by fewer than 7,000 votes. Clinton received 63,454 votes from the 277 districts in Rockland, while President-elect Donald Trump received 57,148 votes.
