NYACK, N.Y. -- Visit Nyack has announced three new Ambassadors, an award given to businesses and organizations that contribute to making Nyack "a great destination and place to live," according to a release.
The Ambassadors are:
Gallery of Metal and Stone Jewelers, 12 S. Broadway
Owners Beverly and Seth Gopin help customers find graduation gifts, wedding rings, anniversary presents, and "just for me" gifts among items.
The business features its "Pick of the Week" email blasts and promotes Nyack and its events in the timely messages.
In additon, Beverly runs the annual Nyack Indoor Street Fair each Decemberwith the Nyack Chamber of Commerce.
Casa del Sol, 104 Main St.
Tom Lynch worked for owners Gina and Jorge Cambre when Casa del Sol first opened in 1997. In September he and his wife bought the and put their stamp on it, adding a new menu, chef and attitude.
As a member of the Nyack Chamber, Tom lends his voice in the dialogue on Nyack's present and future.
Nyack Hospital, 160 N. Midland Ave.
The community hospital not only cares for the sick and injured, but also reaches out to the community with reminders about health screenings and breast cancer awareness, among efforts.
In addition, the hospital's digital presence helps share Nyack events and recognitions.
Visit Nyack, Inc. is a collaboration of civic, business and nonprofit organizations. Its mission is to create and promote a positive image of Nyack, and to provide a nurturing environment for creative, eclectic and innovative businesses.
