TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- The New York State Thurway Authority will hold two public formal meetings this week to discuss the proposed shared-use path facilities and bicycle/pedestrian connections in the villages of Nyack and Tarrytown.
The first meeting will be held 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Sleepy Hollow High School, 210 Boardway, and the second will be held Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. at Nyack Middle School, 98 S. Highland Ave.
The purpose of this meeting is to receive comments on the proposed right of way impacts to public properties associated with the proposed action. Displays and information tables at the open forum will be staffed by representatives who will be available to answer questions and accept written comments for inclusion into the official public record. Both oral and written statements may be entered into the official public record at the formal hearing.
Information on the proposed action can be found in the Environmental Assessment, which includes maps, graphics, and other pertinent information, which is available on the project’s website, NewNYBridge.com.
