ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Drivers should plan for lane closures and stoppages during overnight hours this week on the New York State Thruway in Rockland.
The New York Thruway Authority announced the overnight closure of the entrance ramp from New Jersey Route 17/I-287 northbound to the Thruway (I-87/I-287) southbound for bridge resurfacing work.
The entrance ramp closure will be in effect from Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 9 p.m. through Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 5 a.m.
All traffic, including passenger and commercial vehicles, will be detoured to I-87 exit 15A (Sloatsburg – Suffern NY Route 17 North – NY Route 59) northbound and re-routed to enter I-87 at exit 15A (Sloatsburg – Suffern NY Route 17 North – NY Route 59) southbound.
