PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- The Pearl River St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 20 will have Dermot Moore as its grand marshal, reported lohud.com.
Moore is president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 3 in Pearl River. His mother, Mary Hold Moore, was a grand marshal in New York City's St. Patrick's Day Parade. And he is related to a leader of the 1916 Rising, "an armed insurrection against British rule in Ireland," said lohud.com.
