NYACK, N.Y. -- If you think you might be the next big thing, get started small by hitting the open casting call Tuesday for the the Nyack Village Theatre's upcoming production of Alfred Hitchcock Presents "2-One-Acts."
The casting call, at 7 p.m., welcomes all budding and seasoned performers. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m., and Saturdays at 1p.m.
Roles being cast include the following:
- Lead Female – stylish, office professional, attractive female 25+ and up
- Waiter – male any age
- Young sexy girlfriend – cameo role - one word of dialogue, one scene, age 18+
- Landlady – female age 30+ - a landlady who is a little nosey
- Male lead role - mild mannered bookkeeper type – age 35+ and up
- Neighbor man – out of work sanitation worker 35+ and up
- Neighbor wife – New York City housewife
- Institute man – male 30+ and up,
- Ambulance assistant – no dialogue.
Performances, all at 8 p.m., except matinees at 2 p.m., will be held Friday April 29, Saturday, April 30, Friday May 6, Saturday May 7, Thursday May 17, Friday May 13, Saturday May 15, Friday May 20, Saturday, May 21, and Sunday matinees on May 22, Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4.
