ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. – The Jewish Community Center in Rockland is the newest home for Shidokan Karate classes, after a stint at the Bergen Young Jewish Community Center.
The new 10-month program started in September, and runs until June. Spots are still available for all ages.
Four different levels are available, and students are slotted by skill, not just by age. From the beginning Little Dragon stages, all the way into the adult-level classes, there is a spot for everyone.
Classes are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
A membership at JCC Rockland is required, and more information is available online at jccrockland.org/fitness_class/shidokan-karate.
