A storm system that moved through the area Saturday morning led to fair weather over the weekend, but the Hudson Valley will see a new round of showers and thunderstorms on Monday.
The comfortable temperatures will continue to start the work week with Monday's high in the low-70s.
There is a chance of showers to start the day Monday, followed by occasional showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11 a.m. and continuing through the overnight hours.
Some parts of the area could see a total of up to 1.5 inches of precipitation before the storms move east in the predawn hours Tuesday.
Tuesday will be partly sunny and warmer with a high near 80 degrees.
Wednesday will be sunny with a high again around 80.
