The event helps to pay for all projects and operating expenses at Ferncliff Forest. A walker class also is available.
The schedule of events includes:
- 7 a.m. – Event day registration/bib pick up
- 8 a.m. – Walker start
- 8: 15 a.m. – 5K race start
Free bananas, bagels, drinks, etc. will be available for runners and walkers. There will be a prize of a free dinner for two at Beekman Arms for the best Thanksgiving-related costume.
The race fee is $25 for adults, $20 for ages 11-17, $10 for those younger than 10. Early bird race fee includes timing of 5K course, tech shirt if registered by Tuesday and post-race food. Those fees are $35 for adults, $30 for ages 11-17 and $15 for kids younger than 10.
Packet pick up and late registration will take place from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Staley Real Estate, 52 E. Market St., Rhinebeck.
