That day, troopers were called to Chase Bank at 1460 State Route 9 in Wappinger, responding to reports of a female attempting to cash a fraudulent check. The counterfeit check was reported by a bank employee and was in the amount of $2020, police said.
Hibbert was arraigned at Wappingers Falls Court and placed in Dutchess County Jail with $1000 bail. She appeared before Wappinger Court on May 11, police said.
