Emily J. Rivero-Ramos, 29, has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
New York State Police conducted a traffic stop on State Route 44/55 on May 9 when Rivero-Ramos failed to use a designated lane or keep right.
During an interview and sobriety test it was found that she was on drugs and in possession of a quantity of Alprazolam, Vicodin, Trazadone and Hydrocodone.
Rivero-Ramos was arraigned in the Town of Plattekill Justice Court and released without bail.
