Three Dutchess Residents Face Charges In Ulster County

Three Poughkeepsie residents face charges ranging from DWI to possession of marijuana after being stopped by the Town of Lloyd Police over the past few days.

The arrests include: 

  • Michael Painter, 59, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with DWI after being stopped early Monday on Haviland Road in Highland. He was released on tickets and is scheduled to appear in court on July 20.
  • Evan Martensen, 21, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after being stopped on Friday, June 30 for operating a vehicle on a suspended license. He was released and is due to appear in court on July 13.
  • Diamond Johnson, 21, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Wednesday, June 28, on a warrant out of the City of Poughkeepsie for third-degree assault and turned over to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
