DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -  A Rhinebeck man received serious injuries after he was savagely beaten by three men with baseball bats on Wednesday, according to the Saugerties Police.

The incident occurred around 5:11 p.m., when Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call at 20 Mayfield Estates, for a report of a man being chased by men with baseball bats, said Chief Joseph Sinagra.

When officers arrived they found the 32-year-old victim lying on the ground semi- conscious, bleeding from both his face and head, Sinagra said.

The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics from DIAZ Ambulance and then airlifted by helicopter from the scene to the MidHudson Regional Hospital where he went under further treatment for his injuries, Sinagra said.

Saugerties Police detectives and uniform officers conducted an investigation and were able to obtain a video of the attack.

From the video, they were able to identify the attackers as, Vincent Neglia, 31; Russel Neglia, 22, and Travis Gonzalez, 22, all of Saugerties, the chief said.

On Thursday, Saugerties police arrested all three suspects. Russell Neglia and Gonzalez were charged with the felonies of robbery, gang assault, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. Vincent Neglia was charged with felony robbery, gang assault, and assault.

All three were arraigned in the Town of Saugerties Court, bail was set at $25,000 each. All three defendants posted bail at arraignment.
