Rhinebeck Pair Charged With Stealing $700 In Wal-Mart Merchandise

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- A man and woman from Rhinebeck are facing misdemeanor counts of petty larceny after being accused of stealing more than $700 worth of merchandise from an area Wal-Mart store, according to police.

Todd A. Decesare, 46, and Caitlin S. Decesare, 19, are accused of stealing from the store on Frank Sottile Boulevard on Feb. 25, Ulster town police said without discussing the relationship between the two suspects.

Both Decesares were arrested about 7 p.m. Thursday, police said. The Rhinebeck residents were then ticketed and released without bail.

According to police, the Decesares are to appear in Ulster Town Court at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 10.
