RED HOOK, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old Red Hook man accused of forcibly touching a child is facing multiple criminal charges, police said Saturday.
Jacob N. Osban was arrested Friday after a month-long investigation by the Red Hook Police Department and the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, Red Hook investigators said in a statement.
Authorities provided few details about the case, but said Osban has been charged with misdemeanor counts of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. The age of his alleged victim was not provided.
Osban was arraigned in Red Hook Town Court after his arrest and taken to the Dutchess County jail, where he was held on $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bond, police said.
