PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. – A Pleasant Valley man was charged with aggravated DWI Tuesday, according to the New York State Police.
Michael Werner, 24, was found by troopers to be intoxicated after they were dispatched to conduct a welfare check on an unresponsive person in a vehicle, according to officials.
Werner provided a breath sample that revealed his blood alcohol content was .24 percent, three times the legal limit of intoxication. He was issued tickets directing him to appear before the Town of Pleasant Valley court Tuesday, according to the report.
