Middletown Man, 26, Charged With Sexual Abuse Of Young Girl

MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – A Middletown man was arrested Tuesday by state police on charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

William Pasquale, 26, of Middletown was arrested on multiple charges after a state investigation found that he had allegedly sexually abused a young girl under 11 years old.

William Pasquale, 26, was charged with a class D felony of sexual abuse and a class A misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child by the Orange County Child Abuse Unit after a one-month investigation found that he and a young girl under age 11 had touched each other in their sexual parts, police said.

Pasquale was arraigned at Middletown City Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail on $10,000 bail, police said.

His next court appearance will be on Monday in Middletown City Court.
