Man Faces Assault, Other Charges After Incident At Rhinebeck Tavern

A 22-year-old man involved in a physical altercation at a popular area tavern was busted by police after attempting to flee the scene, investigators said.

Investigators from the Rhinebeck Police Department announced on Thursday, June 13, that on April 24, Millbrook resident Oscar Sosa-Amaya was arrested following an incident at Foster’s Coach House Tavern in Rhinebeck.

Police said that Sosa-Amaya was arrested while attempting to flee the scene and driving while intoxicated. 

Sosa-Amaya was taken into custody and charged with a DWI, assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Following his arraignment, Sosa-Amaya was released and scheduled to appear back in court this week to respond to the charges.
