Man Charged With Murder At ShopRite In New Windsor

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. -- Andrew Goodenough of New Windsor was charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing and murder at a ShopRite in town, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

New Windsor police responded to the store about 9:40 a.m., and a man from Highland Falls was found unconscious before being taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, where he was pronounced dead, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The 35-year-old was found in the store about 10:30 a.m. and taken into custody, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
