HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Ronald R. Jensen, of Hyde Park, died Wednesday, Aug. 17. He was 74.
Born March 16, 1942, in Queens, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles and Adele Rowland Jensen.
He attended the PGA Business School and he worked as a PGA professional as head pro at the McCann Golf Course in Poughkeepsie for 38 years, retiring in 2011. He previously worked at College Hill Golf Course.
He s survived by his children and spouses, Ronald R. and Jenifer Jensen Jr., of Poughquag, Greg and Pia Jensen of Nanuet and Christine and Fred Borrelli of Feeding Hills, Mass.; and grandchildren, Myra and Evan Jensen, Enrico and Victoria Borrelli and Kara and Charlotte Jensen.
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A service will be conducted at noon following visitation in the funeral home. Burial is private and at the convenience of the family.
