Reverend Paschal Baylon Tsiquaye, 77, Of Ho-Ho-Kus

HO-HO-KUS, N.J. -- The Rev. Paschal Baylon Tsiquaye, 77, of Ho-Ho-Kus, died Nov. 24 at St. Joseph’s Home, Totowa.

He is survived by his siblings Matthew K. Tsiquaye, Rose Lydia Tsiquaye, Joseph Tsiquaye; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents George Daniel and Cecilia Efua Tsiquaye; and siblings Emmanuel Tsiquaye, Paul Tsiquaye, Mary Dardoe, Anthony Tsiquaye, ‘Captain Frank’ Tsiquaye, and Georgina Tsiquaye.

Tsiquaye was ordained Dec. 16, 1966 in Rome as a priest of the Diocese of Obuasi-Ghana, West Africa.

He came to St. Luke’s RC Church in 1986, where he remained for the rest of his priesthood. 

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Luke’s, with interment to follow in St. Luke’s Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at St. Luke’s Church, 340 N. Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus.
