Mary Anne Giordano, 75, Of Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Mary Anne Giordano, a resident of Hyde Park, died Wednesday, Jan. 27. She was 75.

She was born on Nov. 1, 1940 in Mount Vernon, N.Y. to Walter and Mary Beckett Heisler. 

Giordano attended school in Yorktown Heights, NY. After graduation, she attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. She was a stay-at-home mother until she began working at IBM as a test analyzer. She retired from IBM in 2006 with more than 25 years of service.

She married Lawrence Sambuco in 1960 died in 1982.. 

She married Guy Giordano in New Paltz, N.Y. on Feb. 22, 1995 Mary Anne married 

She is survived by her husband, Guy Giordano, children Deborah Minnerly and her husband Daniel of Highland, N.Y.; Michael Sambuco and his wife Ligia of Madeira Beach Fla.; Catherine Leverenz and her husband Scott of Seminole Fla.; her stepdaughter Susan Giordano of Highland N.Y. She is also survived by grandchildren David, Alina, Michael, Joshua, Dominic, and Justin, her brothers Richard Heisler and his wife Yvonne of Dover, Del.; Thomas Heisler and his wife Teresa of South Yarmouth, Mass.

A brother, James Heisler, predeceased her.

Visitation is on Friday, Feb. 5, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Parmele Auchmoody & Schoonmaker Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave, Poughkeepsie.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
