HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Elbert Henry Lindros, 89, of Hyde Park, died Saturday, Oct. 15.
He was born May 30, 1927, in Pleasant Valley, to the late William and Belle Wilson Lindros Sr.
For more than 20 years, he worked as a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by his brother, John E. Lindros; his companion of 38 years, Nancy McHugh; and his niece, JoAnne Steele.
He was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
There will be no calling hours. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service and burial of his ashes in the family plot will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
The family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.
