RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Annatje Van Vliet Coon Gilbert, a resident of Red Hook, died on Sunday, March 12. She was 84.

Born in Rhinebeck on May 11, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Homer Adam and Clara Tremper Van Vliet Coon.

Gilbert worked as a teller at Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Hyde Park until her retirement in 1999.

She is survived by her daughters Natalie Gilbert, of Tivoli, Julia Craner and her husband Todd, of Wallkill, and Gretchen Gilbert, of Brooktondale, and five grandchildren: Thomas and Rachel Romack and Tobias, Lucas and Glynis Craner.

Her ashes will be buried in the family plot in Union Cemetery of Hyde Park at a later date.
