Angelina Marie Coluccio, 91, Of Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Angelina Marie Coluccio, a resident of Hyde Park and Barefoot Bay, Fla., died Saturday, June 4. She was 91.

Born Nov.13, 1924, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of Michael Uva and Theresa DelSanto Uva.

She grew up in the Italian section of Poughkeepsie on Mill Street. On Jan. 20, 1946, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, she married Anthony D. Coluccio. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.

As a teenager, she worked at Western Publishing Co. and later went to work as a lab technician at IBM Corp. when it was still on High Street in the City of Poughkeepsie. She retired from the medical records department in 1987 as a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie and was a member of the St. Ann’s Society and the St. Rita’s Society.

She also was a member of The Italian Center Ladies Auxiliary, Hyde Park Chapter of AARP, the Mount Carmel Sportsmen’s’ Club, and past member of the Rogers Point Boating Association Mermaids. She was a tireless volunteer, having served at Vassar Brothers Hospital, the former St. Francis Hospital and the St. Luke’s Thrift Shop in Barefoot Bay, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony D. Coluccio; six children, Frank Coluccio (Roberta Thiess) of Fishkill, Donna Betts of Tivoli, Michael Coluccio (Linda) of Staatsburg, Anthony Coluccio Jr. (Donna) of Hyde Park, Ronald Coluccio of Shohola, Pa. and Danny Coluccio (Sue) of Hyde Park; grandchildren, Katherine, Paul (Chrissy) and Michelle Coluccio, Robert Betts (Sarah), Michael Jr., Sean, and Seth Coluccio, Gina and Mia Coluccio, Christopher, Tanner and Shelby Coluccio; and great-grandchild, Chloe Coluccio.

She was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Rose Casciani, Josephine Spada, and Margaret Hogan; and brothers, Phillip, Pasquale, and Frank Uva.
