Candidates wishing to submit applications for the scholarships must do so prior to the deadline of Monday, April 18 to the Guidance Office.

“This is one of our great Rhinebeck traditions,”said  Marybeth Cale, trustee for Rhinebeck Community Scholarship Fund, and an alumna of Rhinebeck High School. “Over the past several decades, we have awarded over $400,000 in merit-based scholarships to Rhinebeck students, sending a message that our neighbors truly care about the youth of our community.”

The Board of Trustees of the Rhinebeck Community Scholarship Fund will review applications and make decisions on awards later this spring. Any student who lives in the Rhinebeck school district is encouraged to apply.

“We look for students who plan to pursue higher education in a two- or four-year setting, who have displayed commitment to their academics, their extracurricular activities, their work, and their community," said Robert Heywood, Guidance Counselor at Rhinebeck High School. "These scholarship awards give us a chance to recognize the students who have been tirelessly dedicated to learning and growing, in all components of their lives.”

For more information on obtaining an application, call the Rhinebeck High School Guidance Department at 845-871-5500.
