RED HOOK, N.Y. -- The Red Hook Public Library will be holding an event Friday to teach students about hydraulic machines, according to a post on the library's Facebook page.

The event, which is free to attend, will allow students to make their own hydraulic arms, cranes, drawbridges, excavators and more.

Supplies are provided, so "just bring your imaginations," the post says.

The library is at 7444 S. Broadway in Red Hook. To learn more about Friday's event or to learn about other offerings at the library, visit the Red Hook Public Library Facebook page.
