PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. -- Residents from children to adults are invited to attend an Introduction to Birding class on Tuesday, April 12, at the Pleasant Valley Free Library.

Held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., participants will join the Waterman Bird Club to learn all about the birds in the area, the best way to spot them and how to use binoculars.

Birding can be done at any time of year, while inside your home, out on a walk, or even while stuck in traffic. Participants who have binoculars, are asked to bring them. Ages 5-100 are welcome.

Registration for this program is required. Please call the library at 845-635-8460, or email plvprograms@yahoo.com.
