Culinary Institute Dinner In Hyde Park Highlights Importance Of Hudson

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park will host five local chefs for a farm-to-table benefit dinner to highlight the connections between local agriculture and the health of the Hudson River, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The Culinary Institute, the chefs and the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater are all to play a part in the 4 p.m. dinner event on Sunday, Sept. 25, at the institute’s Hyde Park campus, 1946 Campus Drive, according to the Journal.

The benefit is to feature a menu created by chef Terrance Brennan, of Brennan Group Hospitality; chef Peter X. Kelly, of Xaviars Restaurant Group; chef John Lekic, of Le Express Bistro; chef Gianni Scappin, of Market Street Restaurant in Rhinebeck and Cucina in Woodstock; and chef Melissa Walnock, of The Culinary Institute of America’s Apple Pie Bakery Café, according to the Journal.

Individual tickets to the event cost $300, according to the Journal.
