Those interested in donating a new or gently-used winter coat can do so at the Person-to-Person Norwalk location located at 76 S. Main St. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Last year more than 800 jackets were donated and distributed.

“If people have jackets and coats they no longer want or need, or if their children have outgrown outerwear from last year, we hope they will consider bringing them to P2P for our neighbors in need," said Susan Zelman, Norwalk Site Manager at Person-to-Person.

Those interested in organizing a similar drive can contact Zelman at (203) 621-0703 or susanzelman@p2pHelps.org.

Donations will be distributed on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Community Room of the Norwalk Police Department.
