Know It? Police Seek Owner Of 'Cold, Scared' Pit Bull In Hyde Park

The Hyde Park Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance as it attempts to reunite an anxious pit bull with its family.

Police issued an alert this week regarding a “cold and scared” pit bull mix that has been spotted several times in the woods and properties between Beck Road and Kari Boulevard.

According to police, the dog too shy for officers to get near him, but they are hopeful of helping it find a warm, safe home. Anyone who knows the owner or recognizes the dog have been asked to contact the Hyde Park Police Department by calling (845) 229-9340.
