Dutchess Staple Daddy O's Restaurant Offers Fine Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. -- Family-owned and operated Daddy O's Restaurant in Hopewell Junction has been offering some of the area's best food, drink and entertainment for the last six years.

Daddy O's Manager Alice Rexhouse said people keep coming back because of the food and the personal service.

"I think it's because it's really like the neighborhood family restaurant," Rexhouse said. "People come with their children, they come after games. It's a nice gathering place for everybody - any age - and that's what really draws people back."

"We have a very varied menu," Rexhouse added. "Our burgers are our most popular item, because we make them here. We season them ourselves, make them really nice. We have steaks, and we serve breakfast from when we open to when we close."

The restaurant also gets traffic from the adjacent rail trail, where families often go to bike. "The rail trail has been amazing for us," Rexhouse said. "People will go for a ride, them come back and eat before they go home."

Daddy O's is located at 3 Turner Street in Hopewell Junction.
