Sunday Marks Start Of Rhinebeck's Winter Farmer Market Schedule

RHNEBECK, N.Y. — The winter season has begun for The Rhinebeck Farmers Market and it will now move to its indoor location inside the Rhinebeck Town Hall and change to its winter schedule.

The market will now be open at 80 East Market St. from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on alternating Sundays, beginning Sunday, Dec. 6. Alternative Sundays continue through April:

  • Dec. 6, 20
  • Jan. 3, 17, 31
  • Feb. 14 28
  • March 13
  • April 10, 24

Market vendors provide a diverse selection of farm fresh products including fruits and vegetables, beef, pork, lamb, venison, buffalo, fish, chicken, turkey, duck, pheasant, rabbit, eggs from chicken, duck, turkey and pheasant, goat, cow and sheep's milk cheeses, dairy, honey, juices, jams, flowers, plants plants, smoked products and much more.

A group of residents and business people organized the first market over 20 years ago to promote the Hudson Valley and Village of Rhinebeck.

Today the market is Rhinebeck's Sunday morning gathering place, where neighbors meet and mingle and visitors can sample Hudson Valley's offerings.
