Astor Services for Children & Families is a non-profit organization that provides children's mental health services, child welfare services, and early childhood development programs in New York State's mid-Hudson Valley and the Bronx.
The organization will hold this annual Children's Awards Ceremony for students.
Each student will be honored with an achievement award related to academics, social skills, music, art and athletics.
A Student of the Year award will be given to the individual that has shown exemplary achievement in academic and behavioral gains.
One student and one staff member will be recognized with the Joel Robert Crenshaw Award, which distinguishes those that embody Astor’s spirit of caring, resiliency, compassion and commitment to others.
Family, former students, staff and Astor’s board members are invited to the ceremony, which will be followed by a barbecue luncheon.
The ceremony will be at 11:30 a.m. at the school, 6339 Mill St., Rhinebeck, N.Y.
