Red Hook Library Celebrates Holidays With Cookies, Carols

RED HOOK, N.Y. -- Enjoy some holiday spirit and merriment with live music and cookies at the Red Hook Library Friday, Dec. 9.

Performing duo Roger and Lenny will host a sing-along and there will be plenty of cookies and hot cocoa to share. 

The performance will features classic pop tunes, guitar and other acoustic instruments, and written lyrics projected for a sing-along.

Spanish and Latin songs will be included in the program. All voices are welcome.

Bakers are encouraged to bring their home-baked cookies and treats to share.

Visitors are also asked to bring canned foods, personal care items or blankets to donate to the local food banks and shelters.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. at the library, 7444 S. Broadway, Red Hook.
